TradeZero was looking for a new channel to offer more value to its customers, improve relations and sustain daily contact to communicate promotions.
02 — The Solution
To build a daily e-mail that connected with TradeZero's customers. Being a trader, I understand the tools and knowledge a trader requires on a daily basis to stay in tune with the market. Keeping this in mind, I worked with a team of coders and designers to build the below structure:
The email opens with a sports branded logo, daily index performances and breaking news (the morning's lead story)
'The Warm Up' section includes topical news that can influence stocks or sectors in the last 24/48 hours.
'Biggest Movers' shares the top 3 most volatile charts from the day prior and the reason/news that made them move.
Each day usually encompasses a theme: a feature to further engage the reader.
New promotions will regularly feature in the newsletter to increase ROI.
This sections promotes our live education - a segment to engage existing customers and bring in new accounts.
03 — The Results
Over 250 editions have been sent to a 200k+ audience that maintains an average open rate of 32% active daily readers who are existing TradeZero customers. We've also opened the newsletter to non-customers to convert them to customers through the newsletter.
